Gibson County, Tennessee
Gibson County sits in the heart of West Tennessee, where mostly flat and fertile land makes farming an important part of the local economy. Established in 1823, the county was named after a soldier who served under Andrew Jackson.
Humboldt is one of the county’s larger communities and hosts the annual West Tennessee Strawberry Festival, a popular event that brings plenty of excitement to the area. Manufacturing is also a major part of the economy, with several factories providing jobs for local residents.
