Giles County sits among the rolling hills of southern Middle Tennessee and has a long history stretching back to 1809. The Elk River flows through the area, creating some excellent opportunities for fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Pulaski serves as the county seat, with its beautiful courthouse square still acting as a hub of local life. Nearby state parks offer plenty of hiking and scenic spots to explore. The county is also well known for its walking horses, with several breeding farms spread throughout the countryside.
Much of Giles County remains rural, but some of the smaller communities are developing a growing arts scene. Residents take pride in their Southern roots while also embracing new ideas and opportunities.
