Mason County, Kentucky
Mason County is located in northern Kentucky, right along the Ohio River. Maysville, the county seat, is where Rosemary Clooney, George Clooney’s aunt, got her start. There’s even a small museum dedicated to her.
The county’s location along U.S. Route 68 makes it a convenient place to reach. The area also features scenic countryside filled with farms and rolling hills.
The Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge is an iconic landmark connecting Kentucky to Ohio. Mason County is also known for its role in the Underground Railroad, with several historic sites throughout the area.
