Newton County, Indiana
Located in northwestern Indiana, Newton County is about as flat as they come. It’s pure prairie country, with corn and soybean fields stretching all the way to the horizon.
Kentland, the county seat, is a small town with a big sky overhead. The Kankakee River forms the county’s northern border and offers some of the best fishing in the state.
The county is home to the Newton County Pun’kin Vine Fair and the Willow Slough Fish and Wildlife Area. You won’t find any big cities in Newton County, just small towns.
