Jessamine County, Kentucky
Jessamine County is located in the heart of Bluegrass country. Nicholasville serves as the county seat and is just a stone’s throw from Lexington.
The county has some nice horse farms if you’re into that sort of thing. With a population of about 55,000, it’s one of the faster-growing areas in the state.
U.S. Route 27 runs through the county. While you’re here, check out High Bridge Park, which sits along the Kentucky River and offers views of one of the highest railroad bridges in the country.
