Ohio County, Kentucky
Ohio County is located in western Kentucky, and no, it’s not in Ohio. Hartford serves as the county seat and is home to the Ohio County Bluegrass Festival.
The county is also home to Bill Monroe, known as the “Father of Bluegrass,” and his influence can still be felt throughout the local music scene.
