Roberts County, Texas
Roberts County sits in the far northern Texas Panhandle and is one of the state’s most remote places. Miami serves as the county seat, and the town’s name is pronounced “my-AM-uh,” not like Miami, Florida.
This is classic Texas ranch country, with wide-open grasslands stretching across the horizon. The Canadian River runs through the northern part of the county, carving out rugged canyon landscapes that add plenty of character to the otherwise open terrain.
