Knox County sits in southwest Indiana, right along the Wabash River. Vincennes, the county seat, is the star of the show. It’s Indiana’s oldest city and once served as the territorial capital, and you can feel that history throughout its streets.
Summers are hot and sticky, which works out well for the annual Watermelon Festival. The county is also home to Vincennes University, located along the Wabash River.
The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park is a major attraction, commemorating the Revolutionary War hero. Knox County has a rich history and strong agricultural roots, creating a community that continues moving forward and remains a unique part of Indiana.
