Adair County is located in south-central Kentucky, just a short distance from the Tennessee border. The county is home to around 19,000 residents, with Columbia serving as the county seat.
The county takes its name from John Adair, Kentucky’s eighth governor. Green River Lake State Park is one of the area’s main attractions, offering plenty of opportunities for fishing, boating, and camping.
