Gonzales County, Texas
Gonzales County sits in Central Texas, roughly halfway between San Antonio and Houston. It holds an important place in Texas history as the birthplace of the famous “Come and Take It!” battle cry. In 1835, the Battle of Gonzales helped spark the Texas Revolution.
