Spencer County, Indiana
Spencer County is located in the southwestern corner of Indiana, along the Ohio River. Santa Claus is the county’s claim to fame. Yes, that’s a real town, and it’s home to Holiday World, a very popular theme park.
Lincoln City is located in the northern part of the county. It’s where Abraham Lincoln spent much of his boyhood, and you can even visit his recreated homestead.
Finally, Rockport is the county seat and has that classic river town feel. You might even catch an ATV race at Lincoln State Park. Spencer County is definitely not your typical Indiana county.
