St. Clair County, Alabama

St. Clair County is located just northeast of Birmingham and is one of the fastest-growing areas in the region. It has two county seats, Ashville and Pell City.

With a population of around 96,000, the county sits on the outskirts of the Birmingham metro area. Major highways including Interstate 20, Interstate 59, and U.S. Highway 231 provide easy connections to both Birmingham and Atlanta.

Logan Martin Lake, part of the Coosa River system, plays a central role in local recreation and lifestyle. Nearby, just outside the county near Talladega Superspeedway, is the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
