Wabaunsee County, Kansas
Wabaunsee County is located in eastern Kansas, with Alma serving as the county seat. Alma is known as the “City of Native Stone” because of its beautiful limestone buildings.
If you visit, you’ll notice some of the prettiest Flint Hills scenery in the state. The landscape is filled with rolling hills and tallgrass prairie.
Cattle ranching is a big part of life here, and you’ll see some cowboys who aren’t just for show. The county is also home to Mill Creek Lodge, a popular spot for weddings.
