Cass County, Texas

Cass County stretches across the northeastern corner of Texas, bordering both Arkansas and Louisiana. The area has a rich and eventful history, including an important role in the region’s activities during the Civil War.

Today, Cass County offers a much quieter pace of life. Linden, the county seat, has a strong musical heritage and is associated with several notable musicians, including Don Henley of the Eagles.

Dense forests and small communities cover much of the county, creating a peaceful rural atmosphere. Wright Patman Lake and the Sulphur River provide excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and enjoying the outdoors.
