Appling County, Georgia
Appling County lies in southeastern Georgia, roughly midway between Savannah and the Florida border. It’s not the kind of place you happen upon by chance. Established in 1818, the county was named in honor of Colonel Daniel Appling, a distinguished hero of the War of 1812.
