Crawford County, Illinois

Crawford County hugs the Wabash River in eastern Illinois, with Robinson serving as the county seat near the center of the county. The community provides a central hub for the surrounding rural landscape.

The county is named after William Crawford, despite the fact that he never visited the area. His name nevertheless became part of Crawford County’s history, giving the county a unique connection to its namesake.
