Latah County is in northwest Idaho, right along the Washington border. It’s home to the University of Idaho in Moscow, which gives the whole area a lively college-town vibe.

Here, education and agriculture go hand in hand. Rolling hills covered in wheat fields are a common sight, and the Palouse region is known for its rich, fertile soil. Farmers have plenty of reasons to love it.

Moscow Mountain rises above the area. It’s not enormous, but it offers some great hiking trails and outdoor scenery. Around the county, you’ll find a mix of professors, farmers, students, and longtime residents. Small towns dot the landscape, and each one has its own personality.
