Faulkner County is located just north of Little Rock and is one of the fastest-growing counties in Arkansas, with a population of approximately 135,000 people.
Conway, the county seat, is known as the “City of Colleges” and is home to three institutions of higher learning: the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College.
Lake Conway is the largest lake owned by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and is a popular destination for fishing and boating. Interstate 40 also runs directly through Faulkner County.
