Mineral County is one of Colorado’s smallest and least populated counties, tucked high in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. With just over 800 residents, it has a remote and peaceful character that makes it feel like a true mountain wilderness.
Creede is the county’s only incorporated town and is known for its rich mining history.
