Logan County, Arkansas
Logan County is located in western Arkansas, with Pigeon Creek National Wildlife Refuge to the south and the Arkansas River to the north. It is unique because it has two county seats: Paris and Booneville.
Mount Magazine State Park is located in Logan County and is home to the highest point in Arkansas. The park is a popular destination for scenic views and outdoor recreation.
The county is also known for Booneville’s Historic Courthouse and the Logan County Coal Miners Memorial and Museum. The annual Butterfly Festival in Paris celebrates the area’s unofficial mascot.
