Mississippi County, Arkansas
Mississippi County stretches along the Mississippi River in northeastern Arkansas. It is unique because it has two county seats: Blytheville and Osceola.
Once known as the world’s largest cotton-producing county, the area is now transitioning toward steel production. Blytheville is also home to Blytheville Air Force Base.
For outdoor and scenic attractions, the Great River Road National Scenic Byway passes through the county. Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge also provides important habitat for migratory birds.
