Skamania County is a rugged and heavily forested region in southwestern Washington, stretching across the Cascade Mountains. Vast areas of the county are covered by national forests and wilderness, creating a landscape that feels remote and untouched.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there’s no shortage of things to do, from hiking and camping to fishing and exploring scenic trails. The Columbia River Gorge cuts through the county, offering spectacular views and excellent opportunities for wind sports. Mount St. Helens rises to the west, adding another dramatic feature to the landscape.
